SEEKING FOR AGRICULTURE ENGINEERS OR TECHNICIANS TO WORK IN CANADA:
Position: JOHN DEERE AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIANS
Job Description 
PURPOSE:
Independently performs basic/complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural/outdoor power equipment. Establishes excellent customer relations and commitment by providing professional customer service that is best in value, and "A Leap Ahead"!
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform basic/complex agricultural/outdoor power equipment diagnostics and determines what repairs are required, if needed. Looks for the root of the problem, not just symptoms.
2. Perform basic/complex agricultural/outdoor power equipment repairs as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman, in a thorough and expedient manner, communicating any other or related repairs that should be performed back to management for customer consultation and approval.
3. Maintain a clean, safe, positive, and professional work environment.
4. Exhibit constant punctuality, and maintains a high level of efficiency and productivity to consistently achieve the following on a yearly basis:
5. Participate in all applicable job-related training and development, and applies it back in the workplace.
6. Prepare complete and timely paperwork, and submits all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
7. Maintain current product knowledge of John Deere AG/C&CE equipment.
8. Volunteer and positively participates as required in any appropriate customer clinics put on by the employer.
9. Mentor Service Technician Apprentices, shares best practices.
10. Maintain assigned department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of agricultural/outdoor power equipment.
• Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Technical or university studies in Agriculture Engineer or Agriculture Mechanic with at least 2 years of experience with John Deere AG/C&CE equipment.
• High level of English.
• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
