Es una alegría compartir con ustedes la publicación del FOMIN BID sobre el seguro agrícola comercial de La Positiva Seguros que es catalogado como una innovación en microfinanzas rurales. Adjunto el "estudio de caso" sobre el seguro agrícola comercial de La Positiva Seguros.
 
"El seguro agrícola comercial es una innovación nacional en el Perú e, inclusive, en América Latina, puesto
que es la primera vez que se da una experiencia de este tipo sin subsidios del Estado. Es pagado
totalmente por el productor, quien accede a un financiamiento en alguna institución financiera.
Otra característica única de este producto es la tasa fija que La Positiva aplica independientemente
del cultivo y la región. Esta tasa fue estimada gracias a las evaluaciones y construcción de las tablas de
rendimientos." (pagina 12).
